140 nominations have already been received for this year’s 2011 RACV Victorian Tourism Awards. If you are still thinking about nominating your business, time is running out. Business category submissions are due by Friday 12 August.

It may be worth thinking about nominating somebody you admire for one of the Individual Categories. The nomination process is not as demanding and submissions can be made up until Friday 23 September 2011.

Outstanding Contribution by Volunteers (Category 28)
This award celebrates the strong, ongoing personal commitment made by volunteers who freely give their time and skill, contributing to the professionalism of our industry and the positive image of tourism in Victoria

Young Achiever (Category 29)
This award recognises an individual, less than 35 years of age, working in the tourism industry and their contribution to the development of a vibrant and professional tourism industry.

Outstanding Contribution by an Individual (Category 30)
This award recognises the extraordinary personal and professional achievement and contribution by an individual over many years to the Victorian tourism industry.
