Next week, Destination Melbourne will welcome international tourism leader, Rick Antonson to Melbourne.

Rick is the CEO and President of Tourism Vancouver and is responsible for the market development of Metro Vancouver as a convention, incentive, and leisure travel destination.

Rick is regularly invited to speak all over the world on the topic of travel and tourism and we look forward to him sharing his perspective and ideas around destination promotion, management and marketing.

Vancouver and Melbourne have many similarities and are often compared in relation to Most Liveable City but what makes a destination a “most visitable city”.  This forum will help to redefine the conversations around liveability to it being about the visitor experience, what makes the city more attractive to visitors?  Would Melbourne still outrank Vancouver in this measurement?

We hope to see you there for what will be an interesting event as Melbourne and Vancouver come together.
