Destination Melbourne is offering Melbourne businesses the chance to participate in the tourism audit program. The program will provide a unique opportunity to have an independent third party anonymously examine all aspects of the business from initial contact through to the customer experience and overall satisfaction levels.
By undertaking these audits, businesses will gain a better understanding of the current marketplace, recognize the expectations of their customers and identify ways to produce higher performance and levels of customer satisfaction.
This is a great opportunity for businesses that reside in your municipality and we encourage as many businesses as possible to take part. Destination Melbourne will cover the cost of the audits. Businesses will be expected to cover the cost of the disbursements. A detailed breakdown of the disbursement costs are outlined in the attached document.
This opportunity is open to any business or organisation that has an interest in the visitor experience. Including but not limited to: visitor information centres, tourism attractions, tour operators, accommodation providers, retail operators, bars, cafés or restaurants. The first round of audits will commence in November.
