A reminder that from 1 October, a nominal fee will be charged to ride the Melbourne Visitor Shuttle. An all-day ticket will cost $5 while children under 10 will continue to travel free.

The fee has been introduced to offset the operational costs of this popular service.

Tickets can be purchased from Best of Souvenirs at the Melbourne Visitor Centre in Federation Square or from ticket machines located at each of the 13 stops (coin or credit card only).

The $5 ticket includes unlimited trips only on the calendar day it is purchased and will not be valid for a period of 24 hours over two days.

Please ensure you update any websites or brochures with this change and share this information with your visitor facing staff. If you stock the official Melbourne Visitor Shuttle brochure, please
recycle old stock from 1 October and use the updated brochures from this date onwards. If you have not received the new brochures, please contact Brochures DM on 03 9509 1044.

There have been no changes to the route or timetable and the shuttle continues to offer a great value service for exploring the diversity of inner city Melbourne.
