Melbourne Tourism Partnership

The Melbourne Tourism Partnership is one of the cornerstones of Melbourne’s development as a global destination. Destination Melbourne coordinates the Melbourne Tourism Partnership and works with the City of Melbourne, Melbourne Convention Bureau, Tourism Victoria, and the Victorian Major Events Company to ensure that there is:

  • A framework for leadership, communication and coordination
  • Agreement on roles in marketing Melbourne as a tourism and events destination and in the delivery of information and visitor services
  • A coordinated approach to engaging the industry and city businesses in tourism and events marketing, advertising and servicing initiatives
  • Contribution to the development of a strong brand and positioning of Melbourne
